The MI Pad 3 looks almost exactly like the iPad mini. Made with a unibody metal frame, it’s sleek and sturdy it has a slightly rough texture which makes it grippy.
And a 7.9 inches retina screen with 2048 x 1536 Resolution. So that’s about 326 ppi. It’s a bit yellowish, but easily changeable via settings. The screen is Gorilla Glass protected. The viewing angles are nice. You can see the images on the screen from wide range of angles.
OS AND GUI
MI Pad 3 is running on MIUI 8 installed over Android Nougat. It is powered by 4GB of ram running hand in hand with Mediatek 8176 hexacore processor. This setup we have here is doubled from the 2GB RAM of MI Pad 2.
MI Pad 3 scored Benchmark points, that’s 2.500 more than its predecessor. So, playing HD games won’t be a problem
It has 13 MP on rear camera and 5.0 MP on Front camera it is great for a tablet! It captures decent details and colors. The rear camera with the noise cancelling microphone and stereo speakers at the bottom, watching videos in landscape won’t give you stereo sounds.
XIAOMI MI PAD 3 packed a 6,600 mAh battery with fast charging support. Considering the battery size, it will take up to 4 hours to fully juice it up. It’ll give you 8-9 hours of screen on time when used on web browsing, YouTube streaming and watching movies.
MI Pad 3 gained my attention with its premium but light build, its detailed cameras that most tablets don’t have, its long battery life and it has awesome screen.
