September is over and perhaps we still have hangover with the releases of the tech giants like Apple, Samsung, Sony and Xiaomi last month. But wait, there’s more for this year. If you’re in a midst of deciding which phone to buy, you might want to consider this following releases for the month of October.
Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL
First in the list are the two new handsets from Pixel by Google that will launch on October 4, just few days from now. Positioned as a camera phone from the brand name itself, pixel or the basic unit of an image. Moreover, this brand is made by Google who also happened to be one of the top digital assistants we rely on. It’s predecessor, the first generation Pixel and Pixel XL is made of aluminum material. Rumors says that difference of two flagship will be on design, display and camera however let’s wait until the launch.
Huawei Mate 10
Huawei Mate 10 is dubbbed as an intelligient machine rather than a smartphone on their latest teaser ad because of the articial intelligence technology behind it. The phone will officially launch on October 17 at Munich, Germany however leak photos are all over the internet already. It predecessor, Huawei Mate 9, was known for its exemplary performance. Huawei Mate 10 is powered by Kirin 970, an AI based mobile platform by Huawei that was released early September.
Apple iPhone X
Announced alongside with iPhone 8 and 8 Plus but is expected to be available before the month of October ends. iPhone X topped YouTube trending videos prior to its release with over 24 million views and counting, bet your one of it. A smartphone that’s made of the durable all-glass front and back materials that also made wireless charging possible. This full screen bezel-less has a small window on top that houses the front camera and sensors but has no more home button unlike the previous iPhone series.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2
Previously announced in China last September 11, Xiaomi is now on its second generation of its all-screen phone. The first-gen Mi Mix was released last year October 2016 in an three edges bezel-less device and according to reports, first stock of this phone sold out in less than a minute. Ceramic design of this three edge bezel-less phone is a superb design packed with 6GB of RAM (or 8 GB on limited edition model) and the Snapdragon 835 chipset.
LG V30 in its premium glass and metal design is LG’s second flagship for this year after the LG G6. LG V30 is a multi-media device that’s perfect for those who likes taking photos, shooting videos and listening to music. It features dual rear camera with 16 MP standard camera and the 13 MP wide-angle lens, and a 5MP front camera. The edge-to-edge OLED display is specially made for exceptional viewing experience as the manufacturer mainly focuses on developing video and audio features of this device.
Nokia returns with an Android flagship phone. Making its distinction with the Dual-Sight camera feature of the front and rear camera that could let you record clips with the two cameras at the same time in split-screen mode supported by its slogan, “Be Less Selfie, Be More Bothie.”
All mentioned brands except Nokia extinguished their home button already, a design trend that even Samsung did with its latest devices.
